McLoughlin Scar Tissue Release is a gentle but effective treatment for scars of any age.

Scar tissue is an important part of recovery from trauma or surgery as it seals the wound and strengthens the area to prevent further injury. However, scar tissue is less flexible and can lead to problems such as restricted movement, pain or discomfort. Scars can disrupt the movement of lymph which can cause areas of swelling, and restrict blood flow - often felt as cooler areas.
MSTR can often improve these problems caused by scar tissue.
Treatment may begin once the scar is 8 weeks old and when you feel ready.

Scar release work is suitable for:
-
post-surgical scars
-
trauma wound scars
-
amputation scars
-
fibrous tissue caused by underlying tissue damage i.e. sports injuries.
-
burn scars
-
skin grafts
Other additional uses of MSTR include Dupuytren's contracture and Plantar fasciitis.
